What happens if the battery dies while I’m away?
Great question. YeaPaw’s stainless steel water tray doubles as a small emergency reservoir, holding approximately 170ml of still water. That’s enough to keep your pet hydrated if the battery runs out while you're away.

Here’s our recommended replacement schedule, along with how to tell when it’s time:
Sponge filters (under water tray + propeller guard): Replace every 2–4 weeks, or whenever you see visible buildup—like hair, crumbs, or cloudiness near the surface.
Core filter: Replace every 6-8 weeks, or when you notice slower water flow.
Which parts are dishwasher-safe?
The stainless steel water tray, spout, and tank are all dishwasher-safe.

How does the dry motor work?
YeaPaw uses a dry motor hidden in the base—so nothing sits in the water. The propeller clicks into the filter column, forming a sealed unit that drops into the tank with no wires, no submerged parts, and no grime traps.
Using magnetic drive, the motor spins the propeller from below, circulating water smoothly through the filter—efficient, quiet, and easy to clean.
